Poverty Flat is Coe's roomiest creek camp: 3.6 miles and 1,600 feet down from the visitor center to the Middle Fork of Coyote Creek, with more space and fewer crowds than China Hole. A fine base for fishing, exploring the canyon, and watching the ridgetop sunset from below.
